The hull of Lindblad Expedition’s National Geographic Resolution has arrived at Norway’s Ulstein Verft shipyard, triggering the start of outfitting work on the polar expedition cruise vessel.
The hull will be transferred to the yard’s dock hall where insulation work, electrical installations and hotel outfitting will commence. Engines, thrusters and other essential equipment were installed at CRIST shipyard in Poland, where the keel was laid.
Sister ship National Geographic Endurance was delivered in March by Ulstein Verft. It remains quayside.
Resolution is planned for delivery in 2021.
