Thank you Linda for helping us arrange our family trip of eight to Iceland and Norway on the Viking early September this year. We were composed of two eighty years olds, a much younger grandson, son-in-law, two daughters, sister-in-laws, and a friend.
The trip exceeded all our expectations. We did hit some rough sea and had to miss a port. We feel the Captain did everything he could to make us all happy but the rough seas gave a problem that one day.
I believe Viking met all our needs and more. Comfortable rooms, great food, and outstanding tours, many of which were included.
We spent 5 days in Iceland and seven days in Norway. Iceland is a land of volcanoes, geothermal steam from the ground, and some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. Norway is a land of incredible fjords of great magnitude and beauty. The shore excursions were done well. The younger of our group did some of the very active options and had a ball. I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes magnificent scenery, friendly people, great food, and a top of the line cruise ship, Thank you Sunstone Tours for all your help.
