Linda thank you for everything. Sorry we are so late with our review.
We had high expectations and this adventure exceeded them all.
I will say we were lucky with weather, going to Alaska in September is a crap shoot, but we lucked out. Rain two
mornings and that was that. Yes, I wore my Cuddle Duds, thank you for that tip. Wonder why they do not make them for men.
The ship was definitely not new which we were told to expect. I think the Sea Lion and Sea Bird are the Lindblad “work horses”. This was ok for our purposes, we did not need pure luxury. Ship was almost full and the guides and Expeditions leaders are the secret sauce to this cruise.
Cabin was nice 302, food was delicious, fresh and creatively prepared. I stayed away from sugar and they were able to provide me with fruit for each dessert.
We saw whales, calving glaciers and bears, the big three in Alaska.
Passengers suggested Galapagos as the next Lindblad Adventure. We will be contacting you for
that one once we save up a little nest egg. Lindblad ain’t cheap, but you really do get what you pay for.
Thanks for all your help and new friendship.
Robin and Brian McRobbins
