From the moment you set sail, you’re invited into a seamless blend of Southern heritage, coastal beauty, and intimate travel with just a hundred‑plus fellow guests.

Your voyage begins in either vibrant New Orleans, Louisiana or charming Pensacola, Florida, giving you the flexibility to choose the route that suits your travel plans. Over the course of the cruise you’ll visit a curated selection of historic, cultural, and scenic ports, each offering its own unique flavor of the Gulf Coast.

Highlights include the lively port city of Mobile, AL, the birthplace of American Mardi Gras, where you can explore colonial‑era landmarks, the storied USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, or the evocative festivities of Carnival history. Further along the route, the lively coastal town of Biloxi, MS welcomes travelers with its classic lighthouse, beachfront promenade, and the artsy elegance of the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, celebrating local pottery and coastal heritage, as well as the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum that reflects Biloxi’s deep maritime roots and seafood tradition. Then there’s Ocean Springs, MS, a tranquil, art‑filled community where history meets laid-back charm, with its historic district, galleries, cozy streets, and lightly‑trafficked coastal ambiance offering a peaceful retreat from the bustle of bigger ports.

For a change of pace and a deeper dive into Gulf Coast nature and history, the itinerary includes a stop at Ship Island, MS (via Gulfport), where the evocative 19th‑century Fort Massachusetts stands guard over turquoise waters and sandy beaches, a perfect setting for relaxing, exploring, or simply gazing out at the endless Gulf.

Throughout the cruise, life aboard the ship is curated for comfort and discovery. Mingle with fellow guests at the welcome reception, enjoy regional cuisine and relaxed evenings, and witness coastal landscapes drifting by from the ship’s observation lounges. On your final full day, disembark in New Orleans (or Pensacola, depending on your itinerary), where the vibrant mix of jazz, Creole and Cajun cuisine, historic streets of the French Quarter, and rich cultural tapestry of the city serve as a fitting culmination for your journey.

Whether you’re drawn by history, culture, seafood, or scenic beauty, or simply the slow, unhurried pace of a coastal cruise, this Gulf Coast voyage offers a distinctive way to experience the American South, combining understated luxury with regional authenticity and the charm of small‑ship travel.

This city is known for its rich history and strategic location as a major port city. Founded as the first capital of French Louisiana in 1702, the city’s colonial history is evident in landmarks like the Fort Conde and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Mobile is also the birthplace of Mardi Gras in the U.S, predating the celebrations in New Orleans. During this time of year, a colorful festival with parades, balls, and other festivities is held throughout the city, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Visit the Mobile Carnival Museum which offers an exciting journey into the rich history of Mardi Gras.

Discover The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, featuring the historic battleship, a World War II-era vessel of the same name, which visitors can explore along with other military artifacts and planes.

Day 4: Biloxi, MS

Admire Biloxi’s scenic white-sand beaches or take a stroll along the beachfront promenade. Standing since 1848, the iconic Biloxi Lighthouse offers panoramic views from the top and is a favorite photo stop. For those interested in local culture, the nearby Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art, designed by architect Frank Gehry, highlights the life and work of eccentric Gulf Coast potter George E. Ohr. In addition to its historical and natural attractions, Ship Island offers activities like fishing, kayaking, and boat tours, making it a perfect destination for outdoor adventures.
