A Galapagos Tortoise

Cruise Review: National Geographic Endeavour II Cruise Review – December 2022

Thank you for your efforts on our behalf in setting up our Lindblad/National Geographic expedition to the Galapagos Islands. It was truly a bucket list trip, and I would highly recommend it to any of your clients.

The travel arrangements were smooth and convenient. The Lindblad staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable, with their goal to make the entire trip a memorable one. Our ship, the National Geographic Endeavour II, had a crew of almost 70 to serve 96 passengers. The ship was large enough to be comfortable with many amenities and excellent food and service, yet small enough for us to meet many of the passengers and staff.

The daily trips to different islands by Zodiac boat were spectacular, with close encounters with much of the wildlife that make the Galapagos such a special place. We visited 5 of the Islands, with hikes of varying difficulty, and at times just relaxing on the beach, often with sea lions, iguana, and blue footed boobies observing us as much as we did them. In addition, the 5 naturalist on the trip were Galapagos residents and extremely knowledgeable. The daily snorkeling trips allowed us to see a multitude of fish as well as turtles, sea lions, and penguins in their natural environment.

I would recommend, without reservation, advising any of your clients to consider booking a future trip aboard National Geographic Endeavour II. I have attached some of the many photos that I took.

Thank you.

David Yanoff, M.D.
