It was fabulous! We both had our eyes opened to the history, culture and diversity of the islands.
The trip logistics and our experiences with UnCruise were great. We actually found the group of passengers on this cruise to be much more adventurous and fun to be around even than on the Alaska cruise. I have already responded to UnCruise’s request for feedback, which was almost-totally very positive.
The only issue we experienced had to do with the day on Lanai’i where the main experience was visiting a cat sanctuary. Unfortunately, Kim is quite allergic to cats and there were no alternate experiences planned. Thus, she had a very un-rewarding 45 minutes of waiting around while others went into the sanctuary.
However, that was the only “less than awesome” day we experienced, and all the others were fabulous. As noted above, I have already provided that feedback to UnCruise.
We’re definitely planning on another UnCruise voyage at some point…just need to see what the next year looks like vacation-wise, etc.
