Safari Quest

Cruise Review: Safari Quest – Alaska Yacht-Bears, Bergs, & Bushwhacking – June 2018

The best is the best and what more can we say. We put down a deposit for another cruise with UnCruise on their 2nd sailing saving plan. That says it all.

The private small exclusive Safari Quest was a joy. 20 other Interesting fellow passengers from all corners of the world. All with our common curiosity of the wild land of Alaska. Everyone got along beautifully and we made some good friends.

Cabin, food, service, naturalists, shout out to the head naturalist as best there could be. We had a little drizzle here and there but no real rain, lucky us. We hiked, we kayaked, we swam (for 5 seconds), we saw, fish, whales, birds galore, two brown bears. We were busy from sun up to sundown (which isn’t until around 10 pm). Thank you for your help we loved it.

We did not experience bubble net feeding. Two days after being home one of the crew e-mailed us that in the next few days they saw it a few times. Oh well, we will have to go back.
