She is exceptionally nimble and maneuverable, with a shallow draft to get up close, great viewing from all public spaces, an expansive open-air observation deck, large windows in cabins and suites, and state-of-the-art tools for exploration.

  • Snorkeling gear & wetsuits: yours to use for the duration of the expedition.
  • Zodiacs: sturdy inflatable craft are the same time-tested brand Jacques Cousteau used in his expeditions.
  • Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards: allow you to explore scenic shorelines—where you might encounter sea lions, penguins, and more.
  • Glass-bottom boat: Explore the undersea while staying dry.
  • Underwater camera: undersea specialists will dive at snorkeling sites, shooting video to share during Recaps.
  • Video microscope: See the tiny flora and fauna that lives in the rich waters.
  • Wi-Fi: available throughout public spaces and in your cabin at an additional cost.
  • Photo kiosks for photographers: Three iMac stations are available, in the ship’s lounge and library, for sorting and transferring your photos. They’re equipped with a digital media reader and USB outlets.
  • Laundry:At an additional charge, the ship’s staff will handle personal laundry and pressing. There are no facilities for dry cleaning on board.
  • Medical: A doctor is aboard and available 24 hours a day free of charge.

Tools for Exploration

National Geographic Endeavour II is equipped with cool tools for exploration that help you experience the full range of wildness.

You’ll be fitted with a mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, and snorkel buoyancy vest; yours to use for the duration of your expedition. A fleet of Zodiacs, sturdy inflatable craft that are the same time-tested brand Jacques Cousteau used in his expeditions for over 30 years. A fleet of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards allow you to explore scenic shorelines.

Lounge & Bar

The forward lounge is the heart of our expedition community, where the cocktail hour and Recap each evening are held. It’s also where you’ll gather for lectures, photography talks, and guest speaker presentations.

The bar offers a variety of beverages for purchase including beer, cocktails, a daily specialty drink, spirits, and wine by the glass or bottle. There are also 24-hour self-service beverage stations with coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, ice, and snacks.

The dining room accommodates the entire expedition community in a single seating. All food served aboard is fresh, local and delicious. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with eggs and other dishes made to order. Lunch is most often buffet, though occasionally served family style, and there is also an option of a light lunch served on deck. Dinners are plated and served in the dining room, except for the evening when a barbecue is held on the expensive open-air observation deck.

National Geographic Endeavour II offers the choice of suites on two decks, double cabins with beds that can be configured as two twins or a queen, seven sets of connecting cabins for families and friends, triple cabins, and dedicated solo cabins, which are equal in size and amenities to the doubles. All have a large window or windows.

All rooms face outside with a large window or windows. It’s your choice with beds that convert from two doubles to a queen. Cruise ship suites are larger with two windows and sofa or armchairs.

Attentive hotel staff transform your room while you’re out hiking, swimming or exploring, so you always return to a cool, welcoming space. An efficiently designed retreat, every cabin has enhanced Wi-Fi access, temperature controls and furniture that includes a closet or closets, writing desk and chair, and nightstands. Botanically-inspired hair products and shower gel are stocked in every shower, and a hairdryer and robes, are supplied in each cabin.
