Wilderness Adventurer

Wilderness Adventurer

Sailing for UnCruise Adventures

Ready for anything, the unassuming 60-passenger Wilderness Adventurer is fully equipped and designed for action, plus comfort. She’s intent on delivering adventure aboard as well as in the water—including ample room on deck for relaxing or watching for wildlife.

Like your favorite, hippie-cool aunt, she’s sage, soulful, and game for every adventure—and likely the one leading the charge. The Wilderness Adventurer has style and all the amenities needed to get the job done. It’s just as comfortable moseying into the lounge for a pint as it is to leap from the fantail for a “polar plunge” or sketch a landscape from the sundeck. Yep. She lives up to her name.

The mantra on board could be: work hard, play hard, relax, repeat. The ship’s easy-going, fun-making energy inspires fierce loyalty by her crew and guests alike.

Adventure seekers will find a nice selection of exploration tools to select from. An EZ Dock kayak launch platform aids in launching kayaks, paddleboards and inflatable skiffs from the ship. A bow-mounted underwater camera, hiking poles and snorkel gear complete the picture.

Wilderness Adventurer Details

There are 30 cabins across 4 categories, including Single. Cabins are small and intimate.

Cabins are equipped with flat-screen TV/DVD players and there’s a collection of DVDs available onboard for you to borrow from in the main lounge. While television channels are unavailable due to the remote areas we visit, the bow cam will broadcast over one of the channels. Daily updates, menus, and schedules can also be viewed on TV.

Each cabin offers a hairdryer, conditioning shampoo, and body wash. Aboard some of our end ships, bathrobes are also provided. Wilderness Adventurer also has an iron on board, but remember, dress is casual so no need to be perfectly pressed.

Cabins have limited storage space underneath the bed and in the cabinet. Our recommendation: soft-sided, expandable luggage or duffles—the more they squish, the more room you’ll have. While there is no limit, storage space is limited and whatever you bring needs to be stowed in your cabin. Try to limit your bags to two soft-sided bags per cabin.

All electrical outlets are standard 110 Volt, the same voltage as in North America.
