UnCruise Adventures launches WiFi across much of its fleet

UnCruise Adventures has introduced onboard WiFi in response to guest feedback, aiming to strike a balance between connectivity and immersion in nature. According to the cruise line, when entering national parks or remote wildlife zones, the signal will intentionally fade to encourage quiet reflection, wildlife encounters, and true digital detox.

“We set out to create a connection that works where it matters most—without taking away from what makes an UnCruise special,” said Morris Lowitz, Solutions Engineer and WiFi rollout lead. “It took careful planning to bring WiFi to such remote places, but our goal was always clear: give guests the option to connect, while preserving the chance to truly disconnect when it counts.”

WiFi is now available aboard the Wilderness Adventurer, Wilderness Discoverer, Safari Endeavour, Wilderness Legacy, and Safari Quest, with plans to expand to Safari Explorer and Safari Voyager.

Captain Dan Blanchard, UnCruise Adventures’ owner and CEO, explained, “Our guests are adventurers, but also parents, business owners, and caretakers who want to stay in touch or share their experiences. We answered their call for connection with care—ensuring WiFi is available when needed, and intentionally turned off in protected areas to preserve the awe and serenity of the wilderness.”
