Victory Cruise Lines is set to return to the Great Lakes in 2025. The Ocean Navigator and the Ocean Voyager were acquired by John Waggoner, the former owner Victory Cruise Lines, during an auction earlier this year. The names of the two ships will be returned to the prior names, Victory I and Victory II. The two ships will be refreshed before the 2025 Great Lakes season begins.

Previously known as American Queen Voyages when it merged with Victory Cruise Lines and American Queen Steamboat Company in 2021, they ceased operations on Feb. 20, 2024. Hornblower Group, the former cruise line’s parent company, filed for bankruptcy soon after.
All of American Queen Voyages ships were put up for auction. These ships included:

- Ocean Navigator
- Ocean Voyager
The paddlewheelers were purchased by American Cruise Lines.
